This is the first (and minor) update since the Lunar New Year, which focuses on Optimization and Environment effect.
Grass and ground are now reacting to weapon’s projectile: the explosion from the splash or the kinematic energy from the water balloon will make the around dust and grass fly everywhere. Even the tree leaves will fall if you make a splash explosion right at the upper branches. Check out these screenshots:

Aside from addressing many problems in the beta, the game introduces an entire new mechanic called “Weapon module”: user can change the behaviour of the gun in realtime.
I’m happy to announce that the next Update for the game is here that further improves player’s experiences as well as graphics!
The update features a new Networking system that deals with various connection problems and also helps finding low latency hosts (by the distance filter). In addition, it also remixed some AI behaviors that widened the range of difficulty: while Hard and Expert really push players beyond any limits, Weak and Regular should be easier to deal with (but it does not mean it will miss if it sees you standing for too long). The game also came with many graphics options, along with bug fixes and other improvements.
The Straight Module is one of the Sniper Modules available for the Water Sniper Rifle. It was designed as a Scout + Support weapon rather than direct engagement, and very suitable for the guerilla tactics. This module proves to be very reliable in long range, and safe to use.

Hello, everyone! It has been quite a while since writing the latest DevLog as we’re very busy during the release of first pre-alpha build. During the release, Battle Splash has attracted quite a large audience from around the world with thousands of downloads, tons of play hours, and lots of valuable feedback about bugs and stuffs. This is beyond our expectations when many people are really interested in Battle Splash, as well as voicing their initial opinions for this pre-alpha version.
